From a young age he showed a passionate interest in music, which led him to sing from the age of eight at family parties. When Kevin turned 15, his already famous brother invited him to sing on stage, in which he stood out with his angelic voice, his charisma and grace. Adding these qualities to their attractive profile for young girls, they soon saw their potential as an artist. For his older brother Gerardo Ortíz, also a famous singer, founded the record company Bad Sin Records, to launch Kevin's career and also support other Latino artists with potential in United States.
